Now, because you have your sights set on unlimited abundance and prosperity, you have a problem: you don’t yet believe that the universe is infinitely abundant and, we might add, infinitely intelligent at the same time. So, anything that can help you here would obviously be worth considering. There are almost certainly lots of things that are claimed to happen in our world that you dismiss as impossible or, at least, highly improbable. Things that the older, though still-very-useful, Newtonian physics just cannot explain. The question therefore arises: How can we even begin to believe in an unimaginably abundant universe if we don’t stop placing limits on that universe? - limits on what can and can’t happen!
Take this example: how can someone trained in the martial arts lie on the ground with a slab of concrete on his chest and have an associate come down powerfully on it with a sledge hammer? Even to the non-scientist it's obvious that there's a huge amount of energy impacting the slab. What happens to it? Well, one thing’s for sure: the universe knows and, what’s more, holds within itself the possibility of it happening in the first place.
Most people react to such 'strange' occurrences with a comment like: "Oh, yes, that was interesting" - but obviously not interesting enough to get them to to actually think about the oddity of it and about how their understanding of the world/the universe will need to change in order to accommodate it.
You know, just last night I was watching a TV programme that showed a psychic giving 'readings' for prominent individuals. One was to four members of a band, one of whom was totally skeptical, but all four afterwards agreed that they believed the lady was genuine. Another was a man training for some extreme form of sport, something like kung fu. He was absolutely flabbergasted and very moved by what the psychic told him and said he would never forget the experience for the rest of his life. The lady's final subject was none other than Uri Geller, and his conclusion was that the psychic was the real deal.
If you're a person who, up till now, would have dismissed this kind of thing as the 'sleight of hand' of a charliton, you are very probably mistaken. Just be aware of this: there are many prominent scientists, philosophers, singers, actors, internet marketers, as well as other thinking people, who believe that this is a universe in which everything is possible. Besides, the power, the energy you'll need to bring about the changes you want in your life situation must come from this universe of ‘unlimited abundance’; and prosperity - your prosperity - will depend on just how open you are to that vast realm of All Possibility.
Here, I'd like to mention a book with example after example of happenings that either are or else are very likely to be genuine, but that at first we might want to dismiss. And that book is the truly mind-expanding Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. It's recommended by a well known quantum physicist, Dr Fred Alan Wolf. If the early part of the book on the physics of the hologram doesn't appeal to you, skip it - and get straight into the absorbing text. Also. why not take the opportunity of watching some of the nature and science programmes being shown on TV and noting, in a thoughtful way, the magnificent and almost limitless intricacy and detail displayed there - all the product of a universe that is “the manifestation of the order, the harmony and the intelligence of Universal Mind”.
