What Can I Do Now To Start Things Moving?
When Joe Vitale was asked this question in the DVD, The Secret, his answer was: GRATITUDE ! and every other person appearing in the film would agree with that. So we have more than twenty prominent people, who are all experts in their particular field, telling us that it is gratitude that is the starting point for mastering the law of attraction - in other words, telling us precisely how to start things moving, right now.
How, then, about giving this a try? Find something you really are grateful for: a child you love, the flowers in your house or garden, a book you're enjoying, something that’s turned out better than expected..... and then just silently (or aloud, if that's appropriate) say thank you. And follow on from there by frequently taking time to be quiet for a while somewhere, and just look around you. As your eyes rest in turn on each of the things you're observing, say 'thank you'.
As you practise this - and practice is essential, otherwise it's just not going to work - any sense of it being a chore will soon disappear, and before long you'll be feeling good as you do the practice. Now, for the bonus! The more you are grateful, the more the universe pours more things-for-you-to-be-grateful-for into your experience. This practice alone has the power to revolutionise your life, to lift you to a level where you feel a lightness of body and mind, a sense of calmness, positivity and gratitude that will amaze and delight you.
Let's come now to feeling good: this, along with being grateful, is one of the simplest and most effective ways for you to bring about wanted change in your life. And why is that? Well, beside the fact that it actually feels good to be feeling good, it’s the feeling-good "vibes" that are what attracts to us new life-experiences that will also make us feel good. The story's told of a teenager who went up to the Maharishi - he was the Beatles' Indian guru - and asked for his autograph. Laughing, the great teacher said to the boy: "I'm not going to give you my signature, I'll give you something better than that", and he proceeded to write something on a piece of paper, which he then handed to the boy. There was just one word written on it: ENJOY !
Now, let's relate this to your goals; because the reason you’re interested in mastering the law of attraction is that there are things you would really love to be part of your life, things that would give you the feeling of fulfilment and enjoyment, as well as the realisation that you are finally expressing your potential, expressing what was always possible - though you never believed it - your goals, in other words. Most people, and you're probably one of them, aren't much good with New Year resolutions, which after all are just goals.To succeed in manifesting a goal you have to have a very strong belief that it will materialise into your experience; more than that, you have to believe that it's already on-its-way. And for this to be the case, it's pretty obvious that you'll have to change some of your beliefs - the ones that are not helping you, the ones that are actually the reason why you've never had much success with this before.
There are some excellent programmes about to guide you here, but what is most helpful - almost essential - is to read deeply and widely from the high quality material written by experts in the field of achieving your goals. Using one the search engines, start by typing in phrases like "A Happy Pocket Full Of Money" or "You Were Born Rich" or "Wealth Beyond Reason" or "James Ray" or “Michael Beckwith”, and move on from there. Really immerse yourself in such writings and you will find yourself becoming more positive, more open to the possibilities that you’re wanting to move towards.
