Why live in the country?
There are many wonderful benefits of living in the country. There is no smog, no traffic and less chance of your home being broken into. It's even safe to go out for a walk in the evenings - or in the moonlight if you want to. The main pests are mosquitoes, but you get them in the city, too.
When you live in the country, you can have a pet - or several - without worrying about them getting run over or annoying the neighbours. There is room for the children to run around and make loud noises - they can build a cubby house in the back yard and generally make a mess without anyone interfering.
Living in the country means you can have chickens and a goat or cow for fresh eggs and milk. You can grow your own vegetables and fruit trees - though you may have to find ways to beat the birds to the fruit. This means that much of the food you eat will be healthier with no added chemicals or sprays.
You will also find the cost of living goes down because you are not near to the shops. This means you cannot pop down to the mall for that cappuccino or block of chocolate every time you feel like it. So you'll be safer, healthier and save money too. What more could you want?
