Exporting data from your online Store is usually a more specified task. With export options you can view and edit data with full control over the output. osCommerce Manager's high-performance data export will help you to transfer large amounts of information from database into CSV / Excel file quickly. CSV (Comma Separated Value) files are common text files with comma delimited values. These files can be easily opened in Excel to edit.

Among the parameters and options in Export Wizard, you can choose whether to export all products at current store or only from current category, how to export image names. Also you can export all fields from your database or select fields that you want. To make sure that you made everything right, you can Preview generated .csv file before exporting. Most of these options are self-explanatory but you can manage them by yourself also. As a result, you'll have all necessary information from your Store ready for editing in Excel. 

Import is more complicated procedure and it may be destructive if performed incorrectly. That's why you have to create database backup of your Store before importing products. But this option allows you to update your online Store automatically.

osCommerce import manager has many parameters and settings. When you want to import products you can configure settings once and then store them under some configuration not to setup all of them every time. Depending of purpose of your managing you can:
... Add and Modify - add new product if it is not available in database yet and modify the products that were found
... Add Only - only add new products
... Modify Only - only update existing products and do not add new entries, even if current product was not found
... Just Add - this option may produce product duplicates, since Store Manager will not try to find existing products but will only add all products as new

Also you can clear all current product attributes and then add new, mark unlisted products as "Out of Stock", manage everything you need automatically. 

After import procedure is completed you can see the statistics: number of categories in your database, total number of products, number of new (added) products and number of modified (updated) products.
