Owning a website business without question means marketing online using article marketing, social networking, forums, blogs and classified ads etc but you can make good use of free advertising offline as well in addition to online? It may not be global but you can advertise in places offline which will benefit your business making money online. And it certainly is not difficult or time consuming.

I myself have had success marketing offline in addition to online even though I am no marketing guru and don't pretend to be.
Common sense needs to prevail and so it goes without saying that online marketing is always going to be far more effective than offline purely because of the global scale online marketing offers.

In most local newspapers there is a sales section which allows you to place a lineage advert free of charge - maybe several lines and sometimes they may even publish the ad in their sister newspapers also. Admittedly some papers won't allow ads with website addresses but some will so give it a try. Even those ads that don't allow website addresses will always and obviously allow phone contact numbers.

Even though working from home is actually being at home there's nothing to stop you making up some small advert cards and going out for a few hours a week placing these card ads on cars in car parks. It's not hard work and it gets your website name out there. Supermarkets now allow you to place an ad on their public boards which are specifically for advertising - put an attractive ad with your website business address in as many supermarkets as you can and get friends to do the same in their area.

Put your website business in the local rag mag, (you know, that's the small ordinary paper booklets that sometimes get posted through your door). You may have to pay a very small amount for the priviledge but it's another avenue to get yourself known and again get your friends to do the same in their areas.

These methods will not suit every website business for various reasons but there is nothing stopping you using these methods in your local area. Go on give it a try and see what happens. You may be pleasantly surprised at your business making money on the internet.
