Has Modern Health and Nutrition Gone to the Dogs?

Health/Nutrition To Shroom or not to Shroom?!

That is the question: - Can certain 'shrooms' (medicinal mushrooms) stimulate,
improve, or assist the body's own innate immune healing and protective systems?

- The following article may be of interest, especially to mushroom, and dog lovers,: -- --

Autoimmune disorders, lupus, Sjogrens Syndrome, MS, IBS, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid
arthritis, leukemia / cancer, and many other autoimmune diseases, may have a
bacterial or fungal related etiology. Go ask the so-called medical specialists. They
seem to have all the answers. But this I do know, - when my 14 year old dog, Missy
was diagnosed, by 2 vets, with leukemia, and with cancerous tumors on and within her
body, and with chronic liver failure, including a specific liver enzyme count of over
2,000, that what I gave her, helped her over-all health and wellness improve
dramatically. Both vets gave her, at the best, 2 days to 2 weeks to survive.

That was almost eight (4dogyears) months ago, Jan, 2004. Now, Aug, 2004, - no outer
tumors visible, she is up running and playing like a puppy, and all the neighbors are in
shock over her positive energy and health improvement. What did we do differently? As
a traditional naturopath, herbalist, and self taught - Whole-Life Extensionist, I simply
gave Missy, what I would suggest to any of my other dog-faced friends found in a
similar situation. First, I tell them to see a qualified medical doctor. Which we did,- her 2
vets. They could do little to nothing, but volunteer to put her down.

So I gave her my special formula, I call "ReFidolize". Sort of named after her. Ha! Not
really funny, but whatever, the vets asked me for the concoction or remedies recipe.
And I, of course, I only gave the basic ingredients: - 3 mushroom (polysaccharides)
beta-glucan mixed supplements; olive leaf extract; pau d'arco; echinacea, milk thistle
plus; oregano; mixed brocolli and carrot powder, flaxseed oil, ester C; brewers yeast;
multi minerals / aminos; lipoic acid; shark cartilage; green tea (my own "manna-tea"
invention); and a special proprietary blend of 14 other all natural organic herbs and
food supplements. Also include: fresh air, exercise, sunshine, 'pure' water (no
flourine/chlorine), and lots of TLC. - I am commenting here in the - "Health/Nutrition
and the Immune System" articles, and about 'mushroom supplements', because they
are one of the important ingredients of this special formula, which I believe, helped
Missy's innate immune system to begin to heal her self, and or to help control the
parasite/fungi or possible cause of the dis-eases. Yes, mushrooms are also fungi. But
the specialized ones we use, also produce within themselves, their own anti-fungals
(anti-biotics), to use against other enemy, invading bacteria and fungi. All we know is
that seeing is believing.

We are also working on our own 'rnai' mushroom related process and product, which is
in experimental, R/D trials; - by applying the mushrooms own immune chemical
creating immune defenses, that protect against outside invaders of the shroom itself, -
we then introduce these into the canine, to hopefully neutalize or destroy the specific
invading and/or replicating parasites (yeast or bacteria), just as if the culprit was
attacking the mushroom its-self. If just a small amount of this mixture can stop or kill
anthrax, or sars, then it should be fairly good at what we need it for. Hey, who knows,
with the funding, this new product could be ready sooner. In closing, follow a healthy
natural lifestyle, eat live foods, exercise, develop a personal Spiritual program of
prayer and meditation, and don't sweat the small stuff. Hey, anyone for a fresh live
salad? No, it doesn't move when you eat it.

Well, gotta go, - Missy wants to go for our run.
And please remember,- "gorillas-dont-cook".

Peace, -- Joe Ward (Whole-Life Extensionist from Kenton, Ohio)
- p.s. (important: after taking strong anti-biotics, - replace the gut flora with adequate
natural pro-biotics)JW
