Have You Ever Considered Taking A Criminal Justice Degree Online?

Are you interested in a criminal justice degree online? Let's do

A Thought Experiment

It's Tuesday night, and it has been a rugged day at work. You left the cube farm and fought the freeway monsters to get home faster than ever and you're beat. You grab a bag of microwave popcorn and a diet Pepsi, and sit down to watch CSI. You love this, especially the Miami show. Some version of CSI is on some channel every night during the week, and you rarely miss it. Sometimes you dream about being a CSI yourself, but it's simply not possible.

Unlike a majority of people, it's not the blood-and-guts that make CSI fascinating to you. It's the forensic science the investigators are applying. You'd sure rather be solving forensic puzzles than balancing profit-loss statements at your old office, but it's not possible, it's a dream only. You could never be a forensic detective.

Why couldn't you? Why couldn't you be a CSI detective? Yes, you probably would need to obtain a certain degree, probably in criminal justice or something similar, so it's not impossible. You can get a criminal justice degree on the internet these days, it has never been easier. If you think about it, getting a criminal justice degree from an online learning program would remove most of the barriers to accomplishing that dream of yours.

When A Dream Comes True

But you as the rest of us have bills to pay every month, you argue, and you can't just quit your job and go to school all of a sudden. That's all right, because nobody will stop you from continuing to scoop poop in the cube farm while you get your criminal justice degree online. You can take the classes when you're available. You might have to miss an occasional CSI episode now and then to fit it in, but you'd be studying the real thing.

But you haven't been to school in years, and you're scared you won't succeed and your cube buddies would laugh at you. Let me encourage you a bit here. Online education is targeted to adults. It's more learner friendly that ordinary classroom education. New teaching technology and the internet makes it accessible and interesting and nobody has to know what you're doing until you are ready to tell them. You learn in the privacy of your own home. To be honest, it's the perfect solution.

It is definitely possible to make your dream come true. You can do it. You could get your criminal justice degree online and from the comfort of your home become a CSI Investigator. Or you can keep watching TV and making excuses, and three years from now you'll still be working in the cube farm. It's entirely up to you and nobody else. You can do it if this is what you really want to. Therefore, go for it. I mean it; go for it!
