One of the most popular locations to have a timeshare is Las Vegas, although you do not need to be a rocket scientist to understand why. Plus with a timeshare, you typically have a small kitchen so you can eat at the timeshare instead of being required to eat 100% of your meals in a restaurant as you would if you stayed in a hotel. Of course at the timeshare you do not have the casino right downstairs at the foot of the elevator for your gambling enjoyment, but the casinos are still close by, if that is your idea of some good entertainment.
One of the major attractions of Las Vegas, outside of the glitz and glamour of the expensive hotels, the sites on The Strip, and the sites in old downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street, is the entertainment and shows. These are world class shows with brand name entertainers that you have probably not seen anywhere else besides on tv. You can get into these shows relatively cheaply for an evening of major entertainment. Whether your tastes run to musicals or magic shows or comedy clubs or dancing lines, it can all be found in Las Vegas.
One of the things you may wish to consider is the purchase of a Las Vegas timeshare. Since there is something going on in Las Vegas virtually every week of the year, there would be demand for renting your condo out on a consistent basis. Your advantage with this is that you can reserve it for yourself whenever you feel a need to get away from it all, and you can rent it out during the weeks when you would not be there. In addition to providing you with an income stream that should more than cover your payments, you also then get to reap the tax advantages of owning that unit.
To get your feet wet, you may want to rent a timeshare to get a feel for the location and what you really want. But after you have spent any time at all in a Las Vegas timeshare, you will want to come back and visit as often as possible.
